Aronia originates from North America, where it was discovered by the Indians. It is known that the Indians who live in harmony with the nature, used the best parts of aronia for their needs. They used aronia in dried form as food for the winter, and a cure for stomach and intestinal problems and diarrhea.
Premium quality aronia (chokeberry) is Aronia melanocarpa and we have chosen it for cultivation in our fields because it is up to three times stronger than the cultivated varieties, it has a very high percentage of polyphenols, vitamin C, E and beta-carotene. It is rich in vitamins (C, A, E, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9) and minerals (zinc, iron, potassium, calcium, manganese, phosphorous and iodine), and contains more than 300 active compounds.
